Dave Slater brings expertise in human resources, organizational development and service improvement to the VON Board of Directors.

Dave is a principal with Stabilitas Organizational Solutions, Inc. He brings expertise in human resources, organizational development and service improvement to the VON Board of Directors.

At Stabilitas, Dave provides consulting services in human resources planning and services, operational planning, service improvement and organization development. As a consultant, Dave has worked with clients across the federal, provincial and municipal sectors in Ontario.

Prior to his consulting career, Dave spent almost 40 years with the Ontario Public Service in various senior roles where he developed extensive skills and knowledge in the areas of human resources and employee relations.

Dave’s volunteer experience includes serving as chair of the board of the VON Hastings Northumberland Prince Edward community corporation and as a board member for the Highland Shores Children’s Aid Society in Belleville, Ontario and the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg, Ontario.

Dave has a Bachelor of Arts (Hon) from York University, and a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) from Champlain College, Sherbrooke, QC.
