Cathy Jordan brings experience in the community health and social service sectors to the VON Board of Directors.
Cathy has over 30 years of experience working in the community health and social service sectors, frequently in leadership roles. She has brought her skills and expertise as both a nurse and a consultant to her work with community health and resource centres, public health services, VON, SE Health, Rideau Valley Health Centre and the Ontario Ministry of Health.
Cathy has dedicated her time and leadership to several initiatives, including the board of the Association of Ontario Health Centres (Alliance for Healthier Communities), the Coalition of Community Health and Resource Centres, the Queensway Carleton Hospital Board, the Arnprior Region and Ottawa West Health Link, the Champlain Health Link coordinating council, the Community Foundation grants committee, the Community Development Framework steering committee (chairing the allocations working group), the Ottawa Neighbourhood Study steering committee and the boards of Ottawa Community Housing and Arnprior Regional Health.
