Stroke and Aphasia Support Services

We offer support for clients who have experienced a stroke and for their family members.

A stroke can have a profound impact on the entire family. Adjusting to life after a stroke can be challenging for all involved, but we can help.

We focus on practical advice, support, sharing, fun, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, emotional well-being and strengthening connections in the community.

Our skilled facilitators teach clients and their families about the resources available to them, refer clients to other services or supports, offer stroke-specific education, recommend appropriate exercise or recreational activities and run stroke support groups.

We offer support groups and peer support for stroke survivors, including those living with aphasia. We also offer support groups for family members and caregivers. You can learn more about our Stroke and Aphasia Support Services here
