Our Intervention and Assistance program provides support and crisis intervention for vulnerable members of the community.
Some VON clients and their caregivers are more vulnerable and at risk than others, due to cognitive, physical or other challenges combined with a lack of support or isolation. When a client is being abused, needs special services or the help of an advocate, VON is there. We assist with immediate needs and work to put a plan into place for long-term safety and stability for the client.
