Family Supports: Host Family Respite Program

Our Host Family Respite program provides regular respite care for individuals who have developmental disabilities.

We match a client to a host provider or family who provide overnight respite in their home. Host providers could be an individual, a couple or a family. 

We work with the client’s family to develop a support plan that respects the client’s and family’s needs. Respite is provided up to one weekend a month — providing a valuable break to the client’s family. Host families are carefully matched with family input to ensure compatibility and potential for long-term relationships.
