VON Connect launches in Halifax: Next stop, Ontario
VON’s Halifax, Nova Scotia team successfully launched VON Connect, powered by AlayaCare, on February 24, 2025. This milestone marks a significant advancement in how we provide high-quality care to individuals in their homes, further transforming the way we deliver home and community care services across the province.
VON Connect is a cutting-edge technology platform, tailored just for VON and designed to streamline the delivery of home and community care. It enables our frontline teams to access real-time information, manage workflows more efficiently, and provide personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each individual. By improving communication and increasing efficiency, VON Connect empowers our teams to deliver the best care, right in the comfort of clients' homes.
The journey to this moment wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of so many people. What’s next for VON Connect?
With the launch in all 11 of VON’s Nova Scotia sites now complete, we’re excited to share that the next phase of our VON Connect journey will take us back to Ontario. VON’s Ontario teams are gearing up for a series of launches, beginning with London, Elgin, Strathroy and Grey-Bruce, that will extend the benefits of VON Connect to even more communities.
