Tarra Girard exemplifies the strength and adaptability that define exceptional administrative professionals. With nearly four years of dedicated service as a Regional Administrative Specialist, she has an eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to step in wherever needed.

As a key member of VON’s Ontario Operations team, Tarra’s contributions extend beyond routine tasks—she is a problem solver, a strategist, and a trusted and reliable teammate.

She ensures that every detail is managed flawlessly and every goal is within reach.”

“I really enjoy being the grease that keeps the machine running,” says Tarra. “I thrive on providing the support that enables the rest of the team to do their jobs efficiently. When I'm able to achieve that, it makes me feel like a valued team member.”

Tarra’s role requires her to balance competing priorities, anticipate challenges, and provide critical support behind the scenes. She has a knack for streamlining workflows, and is known for her template-building skills, ensuring efficiency across teams.

She is also a busy mom who enjoys being involved in all of her son's activities, including baseball and swimming. “We regularly go exploring new places on hikes and weekend road trips to see all of Ontario,” Tarra says. “I'm also an avid traveller, reader and music enthusiast.”

Tarra has received multiple VON STAR awards, nominated by her peers for her contributions, with messages like, “We couldn’t do what we do without you!” and “Goes above and beyond every day.”
