Our VON Week 2025 theme has big heart
We are looking forward to celebrating VON Week from May 18 to 24, 2025.
VON Week is an annual event recognizing the people who support VON in achieving our mission to help people live in their homes and communities by delivering the caring support that they and their families need. That dedicated group includes staff, volunteers, funders, community supporters and others.
It also includes donors—as a registered charity, VON could not do what we do without the support of our caring donors. We are grateful they believe strongly in our work to help people live their best lives every day.
Our 2025 theme recognizes it’s the people who make VON special
Our 2025 theme—At the heart of care—recognizes that it’s the people who make VON special. VON staff and volunteers put their whole hearts into providing life-changing care to clients. VON is also at the heart of the healthcare system. We bring people supports they need and want—at home and in the community—so they can live healthier, happier lives, surrounded by loved ones.
VON Week is an opportunity for us to celebrate our essential work within the healthcare system. Look out for landmarks lit up in blue (VON’s organizational colour), mayoral proclamations and blue, blue and more blue!
