It has been an eventful couple of months for our VON Connect, powered by AlayaCare, digital health transformation project. The VON Richmond, Nova Scotia team went live with the technology on December 9, 2024, and the teams at our Tri-County, Lunenburg and Queens, Nova Scotia sites went live on January 20, 2025.

These sites represent the 7th to 10th sites to implement the AlayaCare end-to-end solution in VON’s Nova Scotia offices. The teams worked diligently to complete all requirements to get to launch day, including training sessions for end users, data migration and much more.

Each milestone in the VON Connect rollout would not be possible without a large group effort. Many individuals and teams have pulled together to make this project a reality, ensuring the transformation to an electronic health record for our clients.

VON Connect is a significant tool propelling the organization forward as we look to further serve a growing and aging population in their homes and in their communities.
