Monique Porlier brings expertise in strategic and operational leadership in finance, pension and group benefits, human resources, information technology, performance and risk management in the health-care and not-for-profit sectors.
As Chief Operating Officer for the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators, Monique leads the development of optimization strategies including the modernization of systems and practices. Prior to this, Monique was the Vice-President, Corporate Services for Headwaters Health Care Centre and for the Canadian Cancer Society, where in both cases she guided the development and implementation of strategic and performance improvement initiatives including restructuring.
Monique has extensive governance experience as a board member of Hospice Wellington, the Bennett Health Care Centre, the Residences at St. Andrews and the United Way.
Monique earned her Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University and is a chartered accountant. She is a graduate of the Advanced Health Leadership Program at University of Toronto and is a member of the Women’s Executive Network and the Financial Executives International.
