Anna Babin is Chief Executive Officer for The Meadows Home for Special Care. Since 2019, she has shared her expertise in healthcare leadership, governance, and human resources with the VON Board of Directors.
Anna has over two decades of leadership experience in industries such as health care, government, technology, marketing and financial services. Passionate about optimizing health, she has volunteered on several health committees, councils and boards, including Nova Scotia Health Ethics Network, Canadian College of Health Leaders, and a founding member of the Provincial Continuing Care Employers Group.
She is a Certified Health Executive (CHE), a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), a certified six sigma green belt, and a certified workplace harassment investigator. She holds an MBA from Athabasca University and a certificate in Legal Aspects of Canadian Healthcare Delivery from Dalhousie University.
