Cathy brings a wealth of lived experience, passion and commitment to this role. After surviving a life-threatening infection, she was inspired to become a dedicated advocate at healthcare tables, championing the needs of patients, families and caregivers. 

She believes that “together we are better.” For over a decade, she has been a Patient Partner with the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance, contributing to key committees, and she has also worked with provincial and national partners such as Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement, Health Quality Ontario, LHSC & St. Joseph’s Hospitals, the Southwest LHIN, and the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario.
