Board of Directors

Naresh Singh brings expertise in information technology in health care to the VON Board of Directors.

Naresh is an accomplished digital health and technology professional. He leads the Information Technology Services portfolio at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital and is the principal of SW Solutions Inc., a health technology consulting firm. He also co-chairs the Thames Valley Hospitals Regional Cybersecurity Governance Committee.

Naresh has been part of dozens of digital transformation projects in hospital systems and clinical research settings, including the deployment of new digital health record solutions that were later scaled across a region-wide system of 11 hospitals. During his nine years at global clinical research organization Robarts Clinical Trials (now Alimentiv), Naresh led the development and delivery of image management and analysis solutions for inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis) as Director, Research and Innovation. The London Chamber of Commerce awarded Naresh and his team the 2015 Business Achievement Award for Innovation for their work in novel image management technologies used in global clinical research projects.

Naresh served as board chair for our Middlesex-Elgin Community Corporation. Naresh also sits on the board of the Thames Valley Family Health Team and is chair of its Finance and Audit Committee.

Naresh holds a BSc in Microbiology and Immunology from Western University and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
