Transportation

Our transportation services help seniors and adults with disabilities who have no access to transportation, so they can stay independent at home.

Our friendly volunteer or paid drivers provide mobility to those who are unable to use other forms of transportation, such as public transit. They may take clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, adult day programs, to run errands or to other appointments or social outings.

We also offer an accessible Health Van in the Greater Kingston and Hastings Northumberland Prince Edward areas for transportation to non-emergency medical or personal appointments.

Benefits of our Transportation Services

Live independently

A reliable source of transportation helps clients manage their own health and remain engaged with their community.

Social connection

Drivers provide a ride and a friendly visit to combat loneliness and isolation.

Help with daily living

Accessible and affordable transportation means clients can do their own grocery shopping or other errands outside the house.

I live alone and I’m unable to drive, so this service is a huge benefit to me. Now I get to go grocery shopping twice a month and the drivers help me with reading food labels and expiry dates in the store. I’ve come to rely on them. I think it’s a wonderful service!
